As the only charitable provider of free debt management in Australia, CAP exists to address the problem of poverty and social exclusion caused by over-indebtedness. CAP has a unique 'hands on' approach empowers people to help themselves to get out of poverty and to be released from the fear, oppression and worry generated by overwhelming debt. CAP provides sustainable poverty relief as our service teaches clients vital budgeting skills that will last a lifetime. CAP's services are provided through a network of outreach centres in partnership with local churches and The Red Door Community Church is one of them. Restoring hope and dignity to Australians overwhelmed by the burden of unmanageable debt. We can assist you in two distinct ways:

 

CAP MONEY
The CAP Money Course is a revolutionary money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that really works. This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can budget, save and prevent debt. The Red Door runs CAP Money courses over two nights at the church every few months. MONEY MENTORING
Money Mentors are people from local churches across Australia who have been trained by CAP to offer general financial information. A Money Mentor will walk alongside you, supporting you to manage your financial situation. They’re goal is to empower you with the skills and knowledge that will allow you to: 

  • - Better understand your current financial situation. 
  • - Manage your day-to-day expenses, including paying bills, and putting food on the table. 
  • - Build resilience to financial shocks, including saving money, managing credit, and getting out of debt.

Summer Youth + Young Adults Camp

bird_redo_web2 28.1.14 YOUTH CAMP
Transport will be leaving from The Red Door on Tuesday, the 28th of January; so be there at 8am. The camp will wrap up on Friday the 31st January, with pick-up at The Red Door around 12pm. The cost for the first youth is $150, for the second (in the same family) $130, and the third $110. Any child thereafter $110. Cost includes all food, accommodation and activities. The camp will be held at Binningup Youth Camp which is about an hour and a half south of The Red Door. Youth camp is for 2014 SCHOOL YEARS 7 TO 12. Purchase tickets on-line via the link below.

31.1.14 YOUNG ADULTS CAMP
Arrive at Binningup Youth Camp, 9 Valentine Road, Binningup, from 12pm onwards onFriday the 31st January. Depart Sunday the 2nd February around 2pm, back for the 5pm Arvo service at The Red Door. The cost is $90 per person, and year 12 students who wish to stay on from Youth Camp are welcome for an additional cost of $50. Cost includes all food, accommodation and activities.
