2016 LOVE ATTACK
Frequently Asked Questions
Why Love Attack?
Unity in the body of Christ is important to our Father in Heaven. He loves it when he sees His children getting along and encouraging one another. At Red Door unity is a core value that is not just reflected in our words, but in our actions. We desire to communicate to another local church community that they matter, they are loved and they are supported by the wider body of Christ. In addition to this we want to encourage this local community with Acts 18:9-10 as Jesus encouraged Paul “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” Unity costs, it is not free, and we believe the extra effort a day like this takes, will be richly rewarded for all concerned as God promises that “unity commands a blessing” in Psalm 133.
Will there be kids ministry program for my kids on this day?
Sorry, please do not expect this. The church we are visiting will not have the capacity for all our children. Please come prepared with something for your child if they need a suitable activity during the service.
What will parking be like?
Because the church we are visiting will have many more people than they are used today, you will have to park your car on the street, as marked on the map. Drivers can drop people off in front of the church on Spencer Road. Please avoid parking on Poletti Road. We will also have a shuttle van looping the block as marked on the map to assist, but come prepared with your walking shoes on. Thankyou for your patience.
Will there be an offering?
We are encouraging the whole Red Door church to pray and consider giving an offering to Gateway Community Church as part of our overall support and encouragement of this local faith community. So please come prepared.
Toilets?
We encourage you to visit the toilet at home before coming to church on this day.
Seating?
We will do our very best for everyone to have a seat, however please come prepared with your hat and sunscreen as shade may be limited. Also please give preference to our older folks with seats inside.
What will the weather be like?
Temperature forecast for Sunday is 24 and fine.
Will lunch be provided?
Yes, we are providing a sausage sizzle after the service, so please hang out after the service and make an effort to meet and encourage those who make up the great community of Gateway Community Church. Bottled water will also be available.
Will there be a 5pm service at Red Door today?
No, we are encouraging both services to attend the 9:30am love attack service.
