Believe

Our current theme at The Red Door is on The Gospel of John which we have called 'Believe'. The word believe in the gospel of John is used 98 times.  John’s main purpose is belief in Jesus Christ, he says: “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and by believing you may have life in His name.” John 20:31. The definition of the word pisteuo (believe) is: “To believe, to be persuaded of, to place confidence in, to trust, signifies, in this sense of the word, reliance upon, not mere credence.”
